Smoke or regularly consume alcohol.
Are overweight or obese.
Have high blood pressure, cholesterol, or glucose levels, which could indicate early signs of heart disease or diabetes.

Lifestyle assessment: Discussion about your diet, physical activity, smoking, alcohol consumption, and other lifestyle factors.
Physical examination: A full examination that may include blood pressure checks, weight, and heart health screening.
Screening tests: Depending on your individual risk factors, your GP may recommend tests like cholesterol levels, blood glucose, or other investigations.
