Genevieve Papavasiliou
Therapy Dose
Psychologist & Clinical Registrar
Hi, I’m Genevieve, a registered psychologist and clinical registrar (she/her).
I’m dedicated to fostering a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I believe therapy works best when it’s flexible and customised to your individual experiences, strengths, and goals, as such I aim to meet you with empathy, curiosity, gentleness, as well as a touch of humour as we work together to navigate challenges and foster meaningful change.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children who face various difficulties such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, trauma, grief, neurodiversity, personality disorders, and relationship or interpersonal challenges. While I have experience working with couples, my main focus is on supporting individuals.
I believe therapy should be tailored specifically to you rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. My practice incorporates elements from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Cognitive Analytic Therapy-informed approaches.
I see you as the expert in your own life. My role is to use my clinical knowledge and experience to work alongside you, helping you build understanding, develop useful skills, and support meaningful change.
I welcome people from all backgrounds and strive to create a respectful, safe, and inclusive space. I look forward to working with you and supporting your journey.
